In this first CASA newsletter you will find news of Alamedans in action. The people and events featured here are examples of positive environmental actions undertaken recently by fellow Alamedans in support of CASA’s mission:
CASA is a community-wide coalition that will raise awareness, mobilize community action, and facilitate implementation of programs to achieve the goal of Alameda's Local Action Plan for Climate Protection (to reduce Alameda's carbon emissions to 25% below 2005 levels by the year 2020) and to increase community sustainability and well-being.
In addition to these inspiring stories we bring news of CASA’s next community meeting and we tell you how to find us online.
We hope that these stories inspire you to get involved in one of CASA’s initiatives or take action in your own home.

P.S., You are CASA’s best marketing!! Please tell your friends, family, and colleagues about what we're doing here. Feel free to forward them this newsletter, or you can add them to our distribution list by contacting CASA and giving us their e-mail address. |
